Lewis Hixson
Lewis joined with Gary to form Preferred Insurance Solutions in 2000 after a 23 year career at Allstate insurance. While at Allstate Lewis held management positions in both Virginia and Maryland.
He came to the area from Houston, Texas to attend Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA.
Lewis currently makes his home in Darnestown, Maryland.
Gary began his insurance career in 1984 where he served as a manager for a national insurance company for 16 years. In 2000 he joined with partner Lewis J. Hixson to form Preferred Insurance Solutions.
Gary is a graduate of the University of Virginia.
Gary has been married to his wife Kathy for 32 years and they lives in Laytonsville. They have two children Chrissy and Brandon and one grandchild.
Brandon is a graduate from the University of Virginia and holds a BA degree in Sociology. He began his career with Preferred Insurance Solutions in 2015. He is fully licensed to sell Life, Property and Casualty products for our Agency. Brandon is the youngest member of our staff and will be assisting our efforts to market to Millennials. He understands the importance of social media and the impact it has on our ability to serve new customer.
Bandon likes all types of sports and enjoys playing interactive video games.

Katie began her career with Preferred Insurance Solutions in 2009 after working for another major insurance firm for five years.
Prior to becoming an insurance agent her background was in sales. With years of experience in sales, customer service and her bilingual ability in English / Spanish she can help you with all your insurance needs.

Kim has been a Property and Casualty licensed agent for 17 years. She has been with Preferred Insurance Solutions since it opened in 2000. She enjoys the challenge of helping customers manage the risks they face and assisting them in selecting the proper coverage for their situation. With years of sales and customer service experience Kim can help you with all of your insurance needs.
Kim and her husband Mark live in Myersville and have a flock of free range chickens. She enjoys reading, camping, gardening and her Border Collie Toby.

She began her insurance career in 2002 as a customer service representative. She successfully completed the requirements and received her Property and Casualty license in 2006. Yuri joined Preferred Insurance Solutions in October of 2007 and prides herself on getting to know each of her clients. She is very knowledgeable and strives to meet the needs of each customer giving them peace of mind they have made the right decision. She enjoys all aspects of her job especially customer service. She is bilingual, speaking both Spanish and English. Her friendly attitude makes her a pleasure to work with.
Yuri loves spending time with her husband and four children.

Blanca started with Preferred Insurance Solutions in 2013. She has been a licensed Property and Casualty agent for 7 years. Prior to becoming an insurance professional Blanca worked in the field of education. Over the years she has learned the importance of learning and teaching others. She also has a Master Degree in Business Administration. These traits have allowed her to help customers know and understand the coverages they need to protect their valuable assets. Her attitude and willingness to help customers and coworkers is her recipe for success.
Blanca is married to her husband Miguel and has one daughter Mia.
